(Matthew 28:19,20) Mission Yearbook of Prayer 2010 Sunnyslope Presbyterian Church The Desert Mission, which founded SPC, began assisting TB patients in 1927, McCahan Chapel was dedicated in the fall (McCahan now being our Fellowship Hall), and trials over the years have been triumphed by a very loyal and devoted congregation. SPC continues its history of reaching out to others by providing over 500 pounds of food and other items to local people and with projects to three elementary schools, food baskets for the elderly and homebound, sending students to Montlure Camp, assisting John C. Lincoln Hospital in projects/events, and leasing our buildings to Discovery Tree Learning Center (DTLC) preschool. Sunnyslope is still a congregation with a HEART for mission, HANDS willing to work, and abundant HOPE in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are very blessed with dedicated and caring parishioners and respectfully ask for prayers for our faithfulness and wisdom to always love and serve Jesus in joyful community.
