Darren Hawkins Pastor   Office Staff Sally Washum Secretary Clerk of Session Glendon Moss Director of Music Brian Claar Statement of Purpose/Mission Statement/Greeting: Mission Yearbook January 4, 2009 Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church Established in 1956 in Yuma, Arizona Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church reaches out in Mission to the Tohono O'Odham Indian Reservation in fellowship with the Santa Rosa Presbyterian Church on the reservation; we partner in ministry to Jesus Pan De Vida Presbyterian Church in Mexico through the ministry of San/Mas. Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church is also involved in local mission efforts including being a Habitat for Humanity Church partner and regular contributor to the Yuma Community Foodbank. At Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church Children are mentored in a relationship with Jesus Christ through Sunday School, Children's Church, and Puppet Ministry. Every Wednesday night the Church family gathers for dinner and classes for all ages. Youth Group meets twice monthly. Our 9:00 a.m. worship is blended utilizing the gifts of children, youth, a Praise Team, Bell Choir, and Chancel Choir. The evangelism committee leads us in reaching out to our community in an effort to "Show God's Love in practical ways." The stewardship of our property includes its use by thirteen community groups who meet each week, including several AA groups and "Hand in Hand Christian Preschool".
