Statement of Purpose/Mission Statement/Greeting: Faith Presbyterian Church, based on a dynamic relationship with God through Jesus Christ, strives to be an inclusive and nurturing community devoted to meaningful worship and spiritual growth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach out to the world in love.
Mission Yearbook - February 1, 2009 Faith Prebyterian Church Since 1973 Faith Presbyterian Church in Sun City has served the largest concentration of retired adults in the world. Many of the congregation's members have come from long periods of faithful service in other churches around the country. Members continue to serve through loading boxes at the Food Bank, educational travel to the Border, and volunteer in the community and with a number of mission efforts in the area, including Interfaith Community Care. Faith church vigorously supports the world mission of the PCUSA, BorderLinks, Just Coffee project, Cook School, Native American Church on the Gila River Reservation, Habitat for Humanity, Agua Fria and Westside Food Banks. Refugee Resettlement, and knit bandages for medical missions. In January 2009, we were blessed to host the Rev. Hunter Farrell, Director of World Mission (P.C.U.S.A.)
