Members of Community Presbyterian Church in Pinetop hold a vision which
offers the hope of nurture, justice and love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. We plan to live the vision by engaging in a joyful worship and compassionate mission to our community and the world. Our beliefs, founded in the Bible, empower our church family to live in the world as ambassadors of the good news of God's love. Our faith is enriched by worship, the sharing of sacraments, and fellowship. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we strive to be stewards of God's creation and seek to share our gifts, our resources and caring service with others.
Commuity Presbyterian invites all people to participation and membership,
regardless of social, economic, ethnic, political, sexual, and other categories that are used elsewhere as the basis for discrimination.

Mission Yearbook - November 22, 2009
Pinetop Community Presbyterian Church
During the holiday season Community Presbyterian Church collects canned goods and money for our Holiday Baskets. We prepare and distribute these baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our Thanksgiving baskets are filled with a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as a turkey for large families and chicken for single folk. The Christmas baskets have similar items and a ham. The entire congregation gets involved through donating, packing and delivering the Holiday Baskets.
Recipients of the baskets have been hospice patients and their families and veterans. This year over forty baskets were delivered at Thanksgiving and an equal number at Christmas. Community Presbyterian Church has been preparing Holiday Baskets for over eight years. We plan to continue this ministry for many years to come.
Other mission outreach through our congregation, deacons and Presbyterian Women include: Safe House, Alzheimer's, Meals on Wheels, Heifer Project, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Love Kitchen, Prisoner Ministry, and the Humane Society.
