Develop a Worship Committee.   Mission Yearbook - July 23, 2006 Parker Valley Presbyterian Church Parker Valley Presbyterian Church is located on the Colorado River Indian Tribes reservation. It is next door to the CRIT headquarters in Parker, Arizona. Our congregation has a diverse ethnic background. We serve Native Americans from the four tribes, Mohave, Chemehueve, Navajo and Hopi. These Native Americans are joined by worshipers of European and Mexican ethnicity. Worship services recognize the cultural values of our congregation. We worship God using European, Mexican and Native American elements during the year. Parker also has a large winter visitor population which enjoys spending the winter on the Colorado River and they join our congregation at that time. Presbyterian missionaries to the Mohave tribe founded the church early in the 20th century. It was the center of community activity until CRIT facilities were built. Our present church building was built in the 1950's and is located on 4 acres of beautifully landscaped lawn with mature mulberry and mesquite trees providing beautiful picnic areas. RV hookups are available for worshipers who are traveling through the area and want to stop for worship or an overnight visit. Worship services are at 11AM every Sunday throughout the year.
