Mission Yearbook - January 4, 2008
Orangewood Presbyterian Church
OPC is located in a pleasant north central Phoenix urban area and continues to grow as A Living Oasis of Faith in Jesus Christ. At Orangewood you will find welcoming friends and opportunities to:
- Worship God and find a foundation for life. Excellent music, inspiring messages, and occasional drama and liturgical dance are part of the traditional and contemporary services of worship.
- Grow and find foundation for productive living. Learning and fellowship opportunities are available for everyone and include nursery care, Sunday School, Connections for children, NRG for mid-high youth and Oasis Fellowship for senior high youth. There is a multiplicity of adult Bible study, topical study and fellowship groups.
- Care and find a foundation for fruitful living within and beyond the local church. Pastoral Care is experienced naturally and in small groups. The availability of our interim pastor, parish nurse, Stephen Ministry, prayer chain, and Board of Deacons all contribute to this care. Care is also expressed through mission both locally and internationally. Interfaith Corporate Ministry receives weekly donations and a large contingent of members travel to Rocky Point along with other churches to build homes biannually in Rocky Point, Mexico.
