The Presbytery of Grand Canyon is hereby called to meet for its Stated Meeting on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at First Presbyterian Church, Sun City. First Presbyterian Church, Peoria is co-hosting. Registration is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, with the meeting to begin promptly at 9:00 AM.

Highlights for this Stated Meeting as reflected on the Tentative Agenda are the following:

• The Service of Worship will be led by Outgoing Moderator, Rev. Gale Watkins
• Election of a new Moderator-Elect
• Annual Report of the Council Chairperson Kate Wilmoth and Presbytery Executive Ken Moe
• Report of Council/Trustees
• Reception of New Members
• Presentation by Caroline Kurtz, Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship
• Report of the Bills and Overtures Committee on Proposed Amendments to the Constitution
• Rev. Charles Wiley, Associate for Theology, Congregational Ministries Division PC(USA) will lead presentation and small group discussion on The Trinity
• Annual Meeting of the Corporation to Elect New Officers for 2005

A pre-presbytery workshop will be offered on Friday, January 21, 2005 from 1:00-5:00 PM at Palo Cristi Presbyterian Church (602-955-6080), at 3535 E. Lincoln Drive, in Paradise Valley, AZ. (A printable flyer is available with details and driving directions) The guest speaker will be Dr. Charles Wiley on The Trinity, God's Love Overflowing.
