Heritage Presbyterian Church

Heritage is a vital and vibrant multi-generational church in north Glendale - the gateway to the Arrowhead community. We are a church for all people of all ages from infants to seniors who enjoy worshipping together as the body of Christ. Our mission statement begins: We seek to build lives of dynamic discipleship for people of faith, to re-engage people of tired faith, and to introduce people without faith to Jesus Christ. We rejoice that as we continue to grow in numbers each year we do not lose the sense and feeling of being a family.

We are a Bible teaching church and believe in the power of prayer. Our prayer chain has over 40 devoted intercessors and, upon request, we offer laying on of hands for wholeness and healing. Christian Education classes for all ages are held weekly along with Stephen's ChristCare small group ministry. Members are encouraged to share Christ in their everyday lives, wherever God might lead them in their home, work or play. Alpha classes are offered twice each year to introduce Christ to non-believers or to help re-engage one's faith.

Mission is high on our agenda as we give aid and support to groups such as the Agua Fria Food Bank, African orphan children, Habitat for Humanity, HOMES International for medical care to the poor in China, First Presbyterian Church New Orleans for re-building, and Montlure Church Camp as well as the larger church to support her mission both near and far.

We invite and welcome all persons seeking a church home where they will be accepted, loved, supported and encouraged to discover God's love and purpose for their lives.
