Clerk of Session Nan Campbell Statement of Purpose/Mission Statement/Greeting: Mission Yearbook - April 5, 2009 Desert Hills Presbyterian Church (DHPC) is a suburban congregation in far North Scottsdale with a membership of 550. Our mission goal is "More People More Like Christ". Our local mission includes Foothills Food Bank, Foothills Caring Corps, Boy Scout Troop 603, Habitat for Humanity and more. Internationally, we have made several mission trips to Jamaica and one to Scotland. Street evangelism, music, and building have been the emphasis of these mission opportunities. We treasure our relationship of more than 20 years with our sister church, First Presbyterian Church of Leupp on the Navajo reservation. We celebrated with them upon Calvin Kelly becoming a Commissioned Lay Pastor last fall. Similarly, we are blessed with a relationship of 3 years with our sister church Maxwell Mearns Church in Scotland.
