    Mission Yearbook
    Educational Ministry Committee

The Educational Ministry Committee strives to be a resource for Christian education and nurture for the congregations, committees, ministries, and individual leaders of the presbytery. Our goal is to develop and promote various strategies for a wide variety of educational programs for children, youth and adults - many times in response to the expressed need of congregations and pastors. We provide for leadership development, including church officer training. We also seek to identify, support and encourage youth participation in a wide variety of activities including annual junior high and senior high retreats and the PC(USA) Triennium event. We encourage use of the Interchurch Resource Center as an educational, interpretive, and resources channel for the congregations. We actively promote involvement in ecumenical partnerships in educational endeavors.

The EMC covets your prayers for direction and clarity of purpose in our work as well as the energy and imagination needed for the tasks we have before us.
