SOCIAL JUSTICE AND PEACEMAKING COMMITTEE

 

PURPOSE

  • Assists congregations in mobilizing their witness to justice and peacemaking;
  • Assists the Presbytery in acting for justice and peace
  • Recommends appropriate responses to actions of the General Assembly and the Synod;
  • Acts on its own, in consultation with Presbytery officials, to create justice and peace.
