- A Corporate “Bishop” with authority over congregations, ministers and educators. It is the Presbytery that approves calls to clergy and initiates property loans on behalf of congregations.

The Presbytery of Grand Canyon covers the northern part of Arizona, including the counties of Apache,
Coconino, Mohave, Navajo, Yavapai and the part of Gila County north of the Salt and Black Rivers,
Maricopa County north of the 33rd parallel and Pinal County north of the Salt River Base line. The
boundary also extends northward into a small portion of Utah bounded by the San Juan River and
southward to include the Gila River Indian Reservation.
