Church of the Master Presbyterian

Our Mission:

The Church of the Master has been in mission in the East Valley since1965. Our worship attendance varies from 250 in the summer to 450 in the fall and winter. The church has been active in mission to the surrounding community through Christian Assistance Network (C.A.N) by providing food, clothing, bus passes and paying for utilities and lodging for twenty to thirty people per week. We have 13 off-site worship services at nursing homes and care centers serving 200 to 250 people per week. Through the Master's Hands group we provide layettes, lap robes, and clothing to care centers and families. We participate in the Back to School Program at Taft Elementary and give gifts to the children at Christmas. We provide Thanksgiving Baskets to 125 families per year. We are also involved with supporting Habitat for Humanity, Christian refugees from Ethiopia, Sudan & Kenya, missionaries in India, Thailand & Burma, Kazakhstan, China, Niger Republic. We seek to be faithful stewards by contributing 10% of our church's income to causes outside ourselves.
