Scottsdale Presbyterian

Mission Statement:

We follow God's word and direction by identifying, nurturing, and using the spiritual gifts of each member, to serve our neighbors and our church family, making new disciples for the glory of Christ.
Our Mission:

Since 1958, Scottsdale Presbyterian Church has served our community. Our youth ministry helps young people to learn about and deepen their faith in Jesus Christ. Girl Scouts meet on our campus and our Boy Scout Troop has met here for over 45 years.
Both contemporary and traditional worship services are held weekly. We deliver Mobile Meals and support Vista del Camino with generous donations for the needy. We have renovated our classroom wing restrooms to include wheelchair access and shower facilities, in preparation for the possibility of a pandemic flu or other threat. We support Souper Bowl, Teen Challenge, and Immanuel Amen (which sends native language Bibles to Ethiopia). We support our own missionaries and those in mission through PCUSA. We have sent two groups of people to Gulfport MS to assist in housing reconstruction and building through the Presbytery of Mississippi. In cooperation with El Bethel, a local Ethiopian congregation, we held a Walk-a-thon to help buy a car for pastors and others in the Yabelo region of Ethiopia. We support and pray for missionaries in China, Ethiopia, Iraq and the United States. We continue our tradition of loving each other, loving our city and our world, and loving Jesus Christ most of all.
