Rev. Yong Suk Kim

Arizona Korean Presbyterian

Our Mission:

The Arizona Korean Presbyterian Church was first organized in 1973.

The church recently calle a new Korean pastor, the Rev. Yong Suk Kim. Worship attendance still varies between 50 on a holiday weekend to 70 and the membership is holding at 60.

The church’s mission is to reach the greater Korean community by developing mature believers in the congregation, believers who love people and love God, believers who have been equipped through accurate theology and edifying fellowship to live accountably in American society.

The church has relocated to Sun City nearer to the NW Valley where there is a large Korean population. They currently worship at First Presbyterian Sun City.

The congregation has recently welcomed ten newcomers who may join.  There are five Bible study groups, all using PCUSA Korean resources, and there has been leadership training but as yet no formal mission study. There is an English-speaking children's/youth ministry staff person.
